Renovation of an existing Rectory building with a contemporary yet modest design.
Functional complex: kitchen with accompanying facilities, dining room, storage and staff wardrobe. Spatial organization came out of found architectural and constructive limitations of protected baroque Rectory building which is a part of the holy Mother of Bistrica church.
Goal of the project was to achieve functionality and meet technological demands of a modern kitchen with minimal construction intervention. Interior design is minimal, respecting the history of the building and accenting constructivism of Baroque environment: structure and embroidery of stone panels, accenting wall recesses and thresholds by dimension and tiling differentiation of gress tiles, painting walls and arches in two shade and reflection colors.
